The Economist asks:
When will a new tax framework for multinational tech companies be submitted by the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)?
Closed Oct 01, 2020 07:01AM UTC
The OECD has been working for years to seek modernization of the international tax system to, among other things, deal with tax avoidance by large multinational tech companies (Economist, Financial Times, OECD BEPS). The next step would be submission of a plan to the Inclusive Framework, a group of countries working together on international tax reform (OECD Programme of Work, OECD Inclusive Framework).
