Private Superforecasting Workshop asks:
Before 15 December 2021, will the U.S. either formally seek to join or formally begin renegotiations with signatories regarding the TPP or CPTPP?
Closed Dec 15, 2021 08:01AM UTC
Former President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement (TPP) prior to ratification, and the remaining parties went forward without the U.S. and ratified the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) (Federal Register, Council on Foreign Relations, Asian Society Policy Institute).
