The Stablecoin Transparency Act was introduced in the US Senate in March 2022 and has gained new interest in the wake of cryptocurrency volatility (S.3970 - Stablecoin Transparency Act, CoinDesk, Forkast). The date the legislation would take effect would be immaterial.
