Will a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) declaration pertaining to the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) be in effect as of 6 May 2020?

On 30 January 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General declared a PHEIC regarding COVID-19 (Statnews, Guardian, WHO). The Emergency Committee is due to reconvene within three months or earlier from the date of the declaration to review the current epidemiological situation (WHO).
