This question will be resolved using data reported by the Central Bank of Egypt on their monthly statistical bulletin. You can find the relevant table by downloading the "Real Sector" spreadsheet and looking at Tab 54 "Number of Tourists & Nights Spent." The relevant figure for this question is in the row labeled "Number of Tourist Arrivals," and the column labeled 2016 October. Egypt registered 909,000 tourist arrivals in October of 2015 (Central Bank of Egypt). This question will be suspended on 31 October 2016, and closed when official numbers are released, typically two months later.
