Closing Jan 01, 2025 08:01AM UTC
Copper prices have eased from 2024 highs as economic worries offset the rising copper demand for technologies like electric vehicles and data centers for artificial intelligence (OilPrice, YouTube [CNBC-TV18]). The question will be suspended on 31 December 2024 and the outcome determined using IMF price data as reported by the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) database (FRED). In June 2024, the price of copper per metric ton was $9,648.16700.
