Warren Buffett announced that he would retire as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway at the end of 2025 after more than half a century as one of the most successful investors in modern history (AP, Investopedia). The question will be suspended on 30 December 2025 and the outcome determined using data as reported by CNBC (CNBC, see "Market Cap").
