The WNBA and player's union, the WNBA, have been negotiating terms for a new collective bargaining agreement, though the parties are reportedly far apart as of October 2025 (ESPN, Bleacher Report). The question will close as of tip-off in the first WNBA regular season game in 2026 if played before 1 June 2026.
