What will be the difference in the artificial intelligence (AI) model adoption rate by US businesses for OpenAI and Anthropic in April 2026, according to the Ramp AI Index?

OpenAI adoption by US businesses was leading among AI rivals in 2025, but Anthropic was gaining ground (CNBC, SaaStr, The Neuron). The question will be suspended on 30 April 2026 and the outcome determined using data as first reported by the Ramp AI Index by subtracting the percentage for OpenAI by the percentage for Anthropic (Ramp, click "Model" to the right of "View by" in the chart field, and click "Get the data" at the bottom of the chart for download). In April 2025, the difference was 24.07% [32.01%-7.94%=24.07%].
