Before 26 December 2020, will the Australian government accuse the Chinese government, by name, of being behind the "copy-paste compromises" cyberattacks?
Closed Dec 26, 2020 08:01AM UTC
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said Australian organizations are victim to sustained cyberattacks, but he did not name the attacker (Sydney Morning Herald, Port Swigger). Australia's Cyber Security Center has identified the recent spate of attacks as "copy-paste compromises" (Cyber.gov.au). For the purposes of this question, "Australian government" means the incumbent prime minister or other cabinet-level ministers.
