While the National League for Democracy is expected to again win by a wide margin, the impact the USDP might make is unknown (Al Jazeera, Myanmar Times). The USDP won 41 total seats in Myanmar's bicameral Assembly of the Union in the 2015 election, 11 seats in the House of Nationalities and 30 seats in the House of Representatives (BBC). The election is scheduled for 8 November 2020.
