Liz Cheney is facing opposition from within the Republican Party over her work with the House committee investigating the 6 January 2021 Capitol riot and her opposition to former President Trump (Ballotpedia, The Hill, Newsweek). The Wyoming GOP Primary is scheduled for 16 August 2022 (WY Secretary of State).
