Investments by US venture capital firms in crypto and blockchain technology peaked in the first quarter of 2022 at over $6 billion, but the pace of investment has fallen considerably since (Nonrival, see first chart). The question will be suspended on 31 March 2023 if still open and the outcome determined using PitchBook data as reported by Nonrival (PitchBook, Nonrival - Substack).
