The dating app Bumble was launched in 2014, which is unique in that women "make the first move" (Toronto Star, Bumble). The outcome will be determined using data as reported by Bumble in its quarterly reports (Bumble - Quarterly Results). In the third quarter of 2022, there were a total of 2,088.1 thousand, or 2,088,100, Bumble app paying users (Bumble - Q3 2023 Earnings).
