orchidny asks:
When will Elon Musk cease to be Twitter's sole CEO?
Closing Jan 01, 2024 08:01AM UTC
Musk has been the sole CEO of Twitter since its acquisition and is seeking out a replacement (CNBC, The Verge). The addition of a co-CEO would count. The appointment of house pets, livestock, fantasy characters, or other non-natural persons would not count (e.g., Twitter).

NOTE 13 April 2023: We are aware of the changes to Twitter's corporate status, that it was merged with a new, Nevada-incorporated firm called "X Corp." (NV Business ID NV20232715940) with the parent company "X Holdings Corp." (NV Business ID NV20232715924), also a Nevada-incorporated firm. By all accounts (save for Musk's renewed claim to have appointed his dog as CEO), Musk remains both a natural person and the CEO of the firm formerly known as Twitter. So long as Musk remains the CEO of whatever entity is the corporate successor in interest to Twitter, Inc., the question will remain open.
