What will happen next with regard to California Senator Dianne Feinstein?

Senator Feinstein has been away from the Senate since February 2023 while recovering from shingles, which has held up Judiciary Committee action to confirm federal judges (ABC News, CNN, The Hill). A committee vote would count only if cast while present in the District of Columbia.
