Bitcoin was up nearly 30% in this year as of 27 February 2024 with more upside pressure as its next "halving" approaches (MarketWatch, CNBC). The question will be suspended on 29 June 2024 and the outcome determined using Coinbase price data as reported by the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) database (FRED). On 12 February 2024, the price of a bitcoin was $49,961.00.
