Office vacancy rates in the US have reached historic highs as secular changes to business hastened by the COVID-19 pandemic continue to shake the commercial real estate market (CNN, Business Insider, Anadolu Agency). The question will be suspended on 30 September 2024 and the outcome determined using the US office vacancy rate as reported in the Colliers Q3 2024 Office Market Outlook report, expected in Q3 2023 (Colliers, Past Colliers Reports - File Download). For Q4 2023, Colliers reported an office vacancy rate of 16.9% (Colliers - US Office Market Report Q4 2023).
