Taylor Swift began re-recording her previous albums after a dispute arose between former manager Scooter Braun and her regarding the originals (Billboard, Capital FM, RadioTimes.com). The release of any new recordings of her previously released albums will count, irrespective of whether the new album also contains new material. An announcement of a pending release or pre-ordering options alone will not count, and a release made in any geographic area will count.
