The bitcoin network's hash rate is a measure of computational activity on the network (Investopedia). The question will be suspended on 20 May 2025 and the outcome determined using "Total Hash Rate (TH/s)" data as reported in the US (your location in the world may impact how the site dates prices) by Blockchain.com, where "TH/s" means terahashes per second (Blockchain.com, set "Average" to "7D" and the time span to "1Y"). As of the launch of this question, the 7-day average hash rate for bitcoin on 21 May 2024 was 598,741,962.271 TH/s, or 598.741962271 million TH/s. Data will be accessed for resolution no sooner than 23 May 2025.
