Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop music superstar Taylor Swift began dating in the fall of 2023, which has been followed by repeated reports of and denials regarding their putative engagement (Elle, Today). An engagement must be acknowledged by both parties and/or their official spokespersons to count. An announcement that they are actually married will count.
