Ethereum (aka Ether) reached record highs in August 2025, from which it retreated substantially late in the month (CNBC, Yahoo [Cryptonews], Investopedia - Ethereum). The question will be suspended on 30 December 2025 and the outcome determined using Coinbase price data as reported by the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) database (FRED). On 31 December 2024, the price of one Ethereum was $3,353.32.
