The 2024 F1 Drivers' Champion, Max Verstappen, was ranked third in 2025 as of the conclusion of the Singapore Grand Prix on 5 October 2025, behind McLaren teammates Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris (Sports Illustrated). The question will be suspended on 6 December 2025 and the outcome determined by taking the total points for the winning driver and subtracting the total points for Verstappen (Formula 1). In the event of a tie for first place and Verstappen loses the tie-breaking procedures, the question will close "Between 0 and 14." As of 6 October 2025, Verstappen was 63 points behind the first place Oscar Piastri.
