US LNG exports have continued to climb as new infrastructure essential for exporting LNG comes online (EIA, Yahoo [Reuters]). The question will be suspended on 31 December 2026 and the outcome determined using monthly data as reported by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) once data for December 2026 are first reported (EIA - US LNG Exports, download the monthly values and sum across all months in the year). As of the launch of this question, the EIA reported the US exported 4,367,171 million cubic feet (mcf) in 2024, or 4.367171 trillion cubic feet (tcf).
