Ethereum (aka Ether) reached record highs in August 2025, from which it retreated substantially (Yahoo [Decrypt], Yahoo [Cryptonews], CoinDesk, Investopedia - Ethereum). The question will be suspended on 30 March 2026 and the outcome determined using Coinbase price data as reported by the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) database (FRED). On 31 March 2025, the price of one Ethereum was $1,905.13.
