SAG's contract with the AMPTP, a trade group that represents studios and streamers, is scheduled to expire on 30 June 2026 (Deadline, SAG-AFTRA TV/Theatrical Contracts 2023, AMPTP). The last SAG strike took place in 2023, and it lasted almost four months (Deadline). The question will close "No" upon the ratification of a new contract or contract extension to replace the expiring contract through and including 1 August 2026.
