Challenges
While right-wing populist parties have made substantial gains in many European countries, Denmark has been an exception thus far (Newsweek, Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy, Deutsche Welle). The next national election for the Folketing is due by October 2026 (Yahoo [Reuters]). The close date for this question will be changed once the official election date is set.
