Will Berkshire Hathaway (Berkshire) announce a stock split before 10 November 2026?
Closing Nov 10, 2026 08:01AM UTC
With legendary investor Warren Buffet set to retire as CEO of Berkshire at the end of 2025, there is speculation that new management may consider stock splits (CNBC, Capital.com). Berkshire has two classes of common stock: Class A shares and Class B shares (Investopedia, Berkshire - Class A vs. Class B Stock). On 12 December 2025, Class A shares closed at $748,886.97, and Class B shares closed at $499.52 (CNBC - Berkshire Class A, CNBC - Berkshire Class B). Class A shares have never split, while Class B shares split once in 2010 (CompaniesMarketCap). The date the split or splits will take effect is immaterial, and the question will close on the first announcement of a split.
