r00k asks:
Before 5 January 2021, will Vice President Mike Pence cast a tie-breaking vote in the Senate confirming Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court?
Closed Oct 27, 2020 12:07AM UTC
With an already closely-divided Senate and reluctance by some GOP Senators to vote on a replacement for Ruth Bader Ginsburg before the November election, there's a chance that Vice President Pence would be called upon to break a tie in Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation vote (NBC News, NY Post, CBS News). The question would close upon a final Senate vote on Barrett's confirmation.
