Apple, one of the largest publicly traded companies in the world, briefly hit $3 trillion in market capitalization in January 2022 during intraday trading, but has never closed at that level (CNBC, Investopedia - Market Capitalization). The outcome will be determined using data as reported by the Companies Market Cap website (Companies Market Cap).
