The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) is forecasting lower gas prices in the second half of 2023, though OPEC is acting to support petroleum prices (EIA - Short-term Energy Outlook May 2023, Energy Now). The question will be suspended on 19 November 2023 and the outcome determined using data as reported by AAA for 20 November 2023 (AAA, see "Today's AAA National Average" graphic).
