In 2023, total attendance at MLB games exceeded 70 million for the first time since 2017 (MLB, Yahoo Sports). The question will be suspended on 29 September 2024, when the regular season is scheduled to conclude, and the outcome determined using data as reported by Baseball Reference (Baseball Reference, see "Attendance" column, MLB - 2024 Schedule).
