ADP reported that the private sector lost 33,000 jobs in June 2025, the first negative read for a month since March 2023 (CNBC, Investopedia - ADP Report). The question will be suspended on 31 July 2025 and the outcome determined using data from the firm Automatic Data Processing (ADP) as first reported by the Federal Reserve Economic Data database (FRED) (FRED, click "EDIT GRAPH" and change "Units" to "Change, Persons").
