Will Wells Fargo banking executive Chenyue Mao leave China before 13 September 2025?

Wells Fargo reportedly suspended travel to China after one of its executives, US citizen Chenyue Mao, was banned from leaving the country (CNBC, Yahoo [Reuters]). The US State Department issued a travel advisory in November 2024 stating, among other things, that people should exercise "when traveling to Mainland China due to arbitrary enforcement of local laws, including in relation to exit bans" (US Department of State). For the purposes of this question, Hong Kong and Macau are considered to be parts of China.
