Will the 12-month percentage change in China's Consumer Price Index (CPI) be negative for December 2025?

Deflation (i.e., a decline in price levels) is a continuing concern in China, which reported for June 2025 its first positive change since January 2025 (CNBC, Yahoo [Bloomberg], Yahoo [Reuters]). The question will be suspended on 31 December 2025 and the outcome determined using the 12-month percentage change for December 2025 as first reported by Trading Economics (Trading Economics). As of the launch of this question, China's annual CPI change in December 2024 was 0.1%.
