What will be the US civilian labor force participation rate in December 2025?

The labor force participation rate, the number of working-aged people either employed or actively seeking employment, has been trending down since the beginning of the 21st century and is being impacted by US immigration policy (Brookings Institution, CNBC, Investopedia - Participation Rate). The question will be suspended on 31 December 2025 and the outcome determined using Bureau of Labor Statistics data as first reported by the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) database once figures for December 2025 are first released, expected in January 2026 (FRED). As of the launch of this question, the labor force participation rate in December 2024 in the US was 62.5%.
