Egg prices in the US have fallen from record highs, though bird flu is making a resurgence among US egg producers (USDA, NBC News). The question will be suspended on 31 March 2026 and the outcome determined using Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) price data as first reported by the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) database (FRED). As of the launch of this question, the price of a dozen Grade A, large eggs in this US in March 2025 was $6.227.
