Closing Jan 01, 2027 08:01AM UTC
The question will be suspended on 31 December 2026 and the outcome determined using the midpoint of the latest federal funds target rate, taking the average of the Federal Funds Target Range Upper Limit and Federal Funds Target Range Lower Limit. As of 10 December 2025, the target range was set at 3.50% to 3.75%, so the midpoint was 3.625% (Federal Reserve - FOMC Statement 10 December 2025). The Federal Open Market Committee releases quarterly projections on the midpoint of the federal funds target range (Federal Reserve, see "Projection Materials").
