As silver prices have skyrocketed in the second half of 2025 and January 2026, some analysts have warned that the commodity is in a "bubble" (MSN [Baron's], Yahoo [The Street], Investopedia - Bubble). The outcome will be determined using data as reported by Google Finance (Google Finance, set to "1Y"). The threshold will be reached once the closing value of silver is lower by 50% or more from its all-time closing high as of that date (the all-time closing high may be reached after the launch of this question).
