On 17 February 2026, WBD announced that it would hold a special shareholder meeting to vote on the merger with Netflix (WBD - 17 February 2026). In the same announcement, WBD stated that Netflix is allowing it to engage in discussions with Paramount Skydance, which commenced a hostile tender offer in 2025 and subsequently "enhanced" its offer for WBD (CNBC, Paramount). The question will close early upon WBD officially announcing that the 20 March 2026 shareholder meeting has been canceled or postponed.
