On 1 March 2021, how many states will report a COVID-19 fatality rate of 5.0% or higher?
As the U.S. tries to reduce COVID-19 cases, the question remains whether the U.S. health care system can handle the load (CDC). The outcome will be determined based on the data provided in the chart “Can Our Health System Handle the Spread?” under "CASE FATALITY RATE" found at https://www.covidexitstrategy.org at 5:00PM ET on 1 March 2021. For the purposes of this question, the District of Columbia is considered a state.
