In April 2022, the US "M2" money supply metric contracted by the largest amount in decades amid the Federal Reserve's moves to being tightening monetary policy (CNBC, Investopedia, Federal Reserve Money Stock Measures - H.6 Release). The question will be suspended on 25 June 2023 and the outcome determined using data as provided by the Federal Reserve Economic Database (FRED) (FRED). As of 28 March 2022, the value of US M2 was $21,924.7 billion.
