Tennessee has consistently seen population growth over the past several decades, and an economic boom continues to draw in new residents (Macrotrends, Tennessee Town & City). The question will be suspended on 31 August 2024 and the outcome determined using data for 2023 and 2024 as reported when the 1 July 2024 data are released, expected in December 2024 (Census Bureau - State Population Totals, Census Bureau - Release Schedule).
