The US continues to push for Julian Assange to be extradited to the US, but the case continues to be tied up in UK courts (USA Today, BBC). Assange, who founded Wikileaks in 2006, has been the target of various criminal investigations for over a decade, investigations Assange and his supporters assert are politically motivated (AP). Assange must be in US custody in the US to count.
