Uncertainty surrounding policies coming out of the new Trump administration have taken a toll on economic outlooks for the US and elsewhere (NPR, MSN [Reuters]). The question will be suspended on 30 November 2025 and the outcome determined using Economic Policy Uncertainty Index data for the US as reported by the Federal Reserve Economic Data database (FRED) (FRED). As of the launch of this question, the index value for November 2024 was 162.50269.
