The Baltic Dry Index is a benchmark index for the cost of shipping bulk goods, such as coal and grain (Investopedia - Baltic Dry Index). The question will be suspended on 20 November 2025 and the outcome determined using Baltic Exchange Dry Index data as reported by Trading Economics (Trading Economics).
