Oil prices have remained relatively calm in the opening days of hostilities between Israel and Iran (Guardian, BBC). The question will be suspended on 17 October 2025 if still open and the outcome determined using price data as reported by Google Finance (Google Finance, set to "6M"). On 13 June 2025, the price for Brent crude oil closed at $70.22 per barrel.
