Turkey's constitutional referendum passed on 16 April 2017 (Bloomberg), but the opposition party challenged the results (Aljazeera, Rudaw). The electoral commission rejected the petitions challenging the results and an appeal of that decision to the State Council of Turkey was refused (Hurriyet Daily News); official results were released on 27 April 2017, certifying the passage of the referendum (Reuters).
