In its October 2025 WEO, the IMF projected global real GDP growth of 3.1% in 2026 (IMF - Blog, EFG International, Yahoo [Love Money]). The question will be suspended on 5 April 2026 and the outcome determined using IMF real GDP data from the first release of the WEO (not an “Update”) in 2026, which is expected in April 2026. At the IMF website (IMF - WEO), click the appropriate "World Economic Outlook." On the following page, find the "World Economic Outlook Growth Projections" table (e.g., WEO October 2025).
