Bas_ asks:
What will be SpaceX's end-of-day market capitalization on its first day of public trading?
Closing Jan 01, 2027 08:01AM UTC
Space technology company SpaceX is reportedly planning to go public in 2026 (Ars Technica, Yahoo [Reuters], Yahoo [Bloomberg]). The outcome will be determined by the end-of-day market capitalization figure reported by CNBC. Whether SpaceX goes public via an IPO, direct listing, or a merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) will be immaterial (Investopedia - IPO v Direct Listing, Investopedia - SPAC). Tokenized and derivative trading will not count (Morningstar). If SpaceX changes its corporate structure or is replaced by a successor in interest, further instructions will be provided.
